What Causes And Helps With Pain Around Rectum Which Is Red?

my partner has a lot of pain around his rectum and its very red and he is ina lot of pain,he wont go to the doctors at all what coul dit be and what should i do? there are no spots or lumbs around the area just very red, and no he has not stuck any thing up there and never would.thanks

By your history and description, possibility of anal fissures is more.
Anal fissures are very painful and gives bright red appearance of anus.
Treatment for anal fissures is as follows.
1. Avoid constipation. Drink plenty of fluids orally.
2. Take high fiber diet. Avoid oily and spicy food.
3. Sit in warm water 5-6 times a day.
4. Apply lignocaine gel on painful anal areas.
Don't worry, your partner will be alright with all these.
