What Causes Anal Blood Discharge?

Hi I have had bright red blood discharge annaly for two Bms. Dont think its hemroids. I had severe diareha a week ago for one night. felt fine since. Have been taking ibuprofen on food in my stomach for a sore sholder. Alot of blood tonight. thanks

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Blood in stools can occur due to consumption of NSAIDs or anti-inflammatory drugs like ibuprofen.
However, passage of red bright and fresh blood in stools is unlikely.
Bright red blood in stools is likely to be due to hemorrhoids, infection or some growth in the anal canal.
I suggest you to consult your surgeon for clinical assessment to determine the probable cause of bleeding.
