Hi I am having a problem with my bladder, I m not sure if it s infection but whenever I urinate and say some loud noise happens while I m urinating, I suddenly stop urinating because I get startled and whenever this happens the area around my bladder always hurts for so long, why?

Hi,

It can be due to overactive bladder but structural abnormalities like posterior urethral valve etc., should be ruled out. Urologist review and micturation studies should be done and urogram may be needed. Ultrasound or CT KUB may also be needed along with urinalysis.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
