What Causes An Itchy Rash On Arms And Legs After Removal Of A Melanoma?

Good afternoon, I have recently had a melanoma removed from my upper arm via local. This has healed nicely with no obvious problems but since this procedure I have suffered from an ongoing itchy rash. The rash is not always in the same place and at the same time. It may be on my legs, and shoulders, or inner arms or lower back. It is intensely itchy but disappears as quickly as it comes. I ve noticed I ve had this rash since the local - do you think this may be an allergic reaction and if so, how long do you think it may remain in my system - it s rather uncomfortable...many thanks in advance for your response...Irene
