What Causes An Elevation In The Lipase Level While On Anti-depressants?

my lipase is up to 1064 and I am in pain. can my depression meds cause this. stomach cramping loose bowels and belly swollen. diagnosed pancreatitis but the lipase went down to 80 now back up over 500. ct showed no signs of any else. im doubting the diagnosis. im not a drinker so im confused

Hi,

It may be an acute attack of pancreatitis.

Consult a gastroenterologist at the earliest and get a CT scan done.

Do not eat or drink anything as bowel rest is required to avoid unwanted complications.
