I got both my tragus pierced about 5 months ago. For the last month they were both red and the left tragus had a red bump in the front N back of the piercing. Not only did it hAve the bumps but they were red, swollen, hot and extremely painful. I went to the doctors on Thursday morning because in doing research it seems that I had an infection. Turns out I did and the doctor prescribed a 5 day antibiotic oral pill. This is my second day taking my medication and good news is my right side seems to be completely held and no pain. My left side is another story. Swelling went down but now my left feels like I have an ear infection. The bump went down so my question is , is it normal to feel like I have an ear infection? It did not feel like that before. I am concerned that my infection has traveled or is it normal to feel like this? }
