Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have acidity and throat irritation in an lactose intolerant person which is because of infection travel down the respiratory track and affected whole area an leads to granular pharyngitis and sinusitis. Do warm saline gargles on daily basis. I would suggest you to again consult your ENT specialist for proper examination. He/she may prescribe further antibiotic course and stronger antibiotics. Take combination of amoxicillin along with Levocetrizine. You should put xylomist nasal drops to prevent congestion. Doctor may refer you to gastroenterologist for acid reflux . Doctor may prescribe proton pump inhibitor , H2 blockers . For now avoid product containing lactose .

Hope your concern has been resolved.
