What Causes Acid Reflux Along With Dizziness And Breathing Difficulty?

I had severe heartburn over the last weekend with dizziness and shortness of breathe. The burning in my chest was so severe. I saw a doctor Monday and was told my symptoms were a cause of heartburn. How do I know if these symptoms are not related to heart attack symptoms?

Thank you for asking HCM

The heartburn and shortness of breath symptoms that you felt it may caused by GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease). The medication that you need are antacid, and another medication to reduce the production of gastric acid. It does not related to heart attack symptoms. Please eat meals about 4 or 5 times a day in small portion, do not smoking or lay down after eating and please avoid the meals that can trigger GERD such as alcohol, coffee, tomato sauce, chocolate, mint and onion. I hope you will get better soon.
