General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The most possible reason here for loaded colon is in relation with gut motility related issue from number of reasons.

In our clinic, we recommend plenty of liquids, high fiber diet along with
laxative intake (not eating concept will not help here).

As per my surgical experience, it takes around 48 hours to pass out the loaded colon fecal matter.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
