What Causes Absence Of Periods While On Depo Shots?
I have been on the depo-shot for over a year now. I have no periods. But after the second shot i started hurting during intercourse. We have tried lube & different positions. But nothing seems to work. My dr said its not my shot. Is it something I should be worried about or is it normal to hurt during sex when you have the shot as birth control?

You are using depo provera. It is injectable medroxy projesterone acetate used for protection to prevent pregnancy.
Regarding side egfect, it can produce nausea, vomiting, dizziness, pain at the site of injection etc.
You are hurting during intercourse and depo provera is not responsible for it.
Remain relax while sex and take more time during foreplay will definitely solve your problem.
