Hi,

In pregnancy loss of fetal movements could be after a fall/following fever or severe infection. Actually feeling of fetal movements (quickening) starts specially on 1st child from 6th month of pregnancy.

In case of 2nd child onwards it can be felt a bit earlier. In any case lack of fetal movements after having noted them once is a alarming sign & needs to be excluded.

So, though you need not be scared.you should get your self checked by an obstetrician & get a sonography, if needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
