What Causes Abdominal Pain, Dizziness And Light Menstruation?

For the last two months my periods are really light and they are late by 5-7 days than they should be. If i was pregnant id be about 12 weeks. My symptoms include: tender breasts, abdominal cramps, dizziness, backache, and diarrhea/constipation. What could these symptoms point to if not pregnancy? Also the pregnancy test i took came out negative. Thanks for your help.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The constellation of symptoms of abdomen pain, dizziness with altered bowel movements are suggestive of hormone imbalance which can be at hypothalamus pituitary axis with or without thyroid gland hypofunction; polycystic ovarian syndrome or others. Kindly consult your OBGYN for precise work up of the underlying cause and get treated accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
