What Causes Abdominal Pain And Heavy Vaginal Bleeding After An Intercourse?
hi, I had sex with my boyfriend last night , he was very deep in and it was kinda rough I wasn t in no pain at the moment but I woke up this morning with abdomen pain and bleeding heavily !! It can no be my period seeing that it ended 9 days ago. Why and what do I do ?
Hello and welcome to HCM, Abdominal pain and heavy bleeding after intercourse could be due to injury to the genital tract. Since, the act was rough (as you have mentioned) the possibility of injury to genital tract is likely. Thus, I suggest you to consult your gynaecologist for clinical assessment of the genital tract. In case any injury or laceration is detected on clinical assessment, appropriate managed has to be done. Since, the bleeding is heavy, it is advisable to avoid delay.
Thanks and take care DR Shailja Puri
