What Causes Abdominal Pain After Appendix Removal Surgery?

I have had my appendix removed last year...June 28 I found out the left a piece and had to have another surgery to remove the piece they didn t take out...they 2 weeks later it got infected where the drain bag was and now I m getting the same pain again..can you please tell me what is going on

Hi.

Noted your short and specific history and query. Appendectomy done
but needed removal of stump after one year, infection 2 weeks after and same pain again.
The most probable causes can be one of the following:
There is a basic pathology in the appendix area like tuberculosis, Crohn's or some specific infection that needs to be proved by histopathology examination.
I would advise you the following in such a situation;
Colonoscopy and biopsy.
Review of specimens for histopathology.
Relevant other investigations of blood, urine and stool.
CT scan of abdomen.
All these will lead to a proper diagnosis and thus allow a proper management.
