Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The blood is not likely related to the medication however but if there are any changes in the vaginal area or cervix, this can cause bleeding. Trauma, infection, benign growth etc. can cause bleeding.

It is possible that one of these can contribute to the pain as well though the medication may also play a role there. It would be best to speak to your doctor about your symptoms so that you can be assessed.

I hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James
