What Causes Abdominal Cramps After Unprotected Intercourse?

Hello. I had unprotected sex during of my fertile days. I think I might be pregnant. Although I don’t any relatable symptoms. But , right after that day I’ve been having cramps. The cramps feel like I’m going to get my periods. My period is due on the 17th.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The only sign of pregnancy is delayed period.

So if your period is delayed for one week than rule out pregnancy by urine hcg card test.

If pregnancy not present than pelvic examination and USG scan done for further work up.

Take care. Hope this will help you. Consult gynecologist for examination.
