I recently had surgery on a hernia. I t was right below my belly button they put a mesh over 3 tears . My belly was like a football protruding from the right side of my stomach. It has been over 6 weeks and it appeared to have reduce in size after wards as time went by . My question I now have a hard football moved ver a few inches I thought as I recivered it would go down. I had gained weight due to quitting smoking due to recent heart surgery last Sept. I intention to start a diet to lose the extra pounds I will be starting a diet supplement called Garcina Cambog IX and a natural Cleanse. am 68 years old and have had colon cancer , a valve replacement and now the hernia so 3 sets of scars covering my upperand lower stomach. I feel this huge ball from the hernia is never going to go away. Is this just a fear on my part due to age and need of weight loss?
