What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Metallic Taste In The Mouth?

HI, I was feeling bloated and sick earlier from eating a donut. After a lunch of soup and squash ravolii from a restaurant i took a probiotic and 2 tums. Now my throat feels like it is hard to swallow and I have a metal taste in my mouth. Sinus pressure too.

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of abdominal bloating and metallic taste in the mouth which seems to be due to GIT disturbances and due to gastroesophageal reflux disease. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to

- Visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined completely. You should go for endoscopy as well.

- Take supplements rich in iron.

- Take plenty of fluids in diet and balanced diet.

- Chew on citrus substances and sugar free candies.

- Take proper course of antibiotics along with antacids and avoid sharp and spicy food.
