What Causes Abdominal Bloating And Excessive Weight Gain?

Hi! what are the possible reasons for extreme stomach bloatness, mine seems to just keep getting bigger in just 2 months and gained weight just stomach and waist,, and went 2 sizes up in jean from this. also,,i can t stop burping and having movements in throat from it,,, if i eat very little I bloat very big looking as if 6 months pregnant,, if i drink water i bloat.. if eat 3 little meals i bloat.. no heartburn.. but i did have silent reflux years back… too much medication damaged vocal cord,,, but these systems together are getting worse each day,,its been almost 2 month.. one burping episode lasted almost 7 hrs

Certain degree of bloating is normal but in case of excessive bloating it may be a sign of food allergy, hiatal hernia, IBS or inflammatory bowel diseases. So you should do gastroenterological work-up but first try to change your dietary habits.

It means: eat smaller meals but more frequently, avoid fried and spicy food, take menta tea, avoid alcohol and coffee, eat probiotics and milk products, boiled food and vegetables. Also, there are medications such as Flobian, magnesium oxide or certain laxatives which may relieve such symptoms.
