What Causes A Twitch On The Upper Lid Of The Eye?

I ve had a twitch in my left eye for over 20 years, which rarely goes away. It is mostly in the upper eyelid, put also is around the entire eye. It s my eyelid for sure, (not my eye). Also, lately, the motion causes my forehead & eyebrows to move upward, more so on the right side, & it is visually noticable & I can really feel it. I ve been looking up various twiching disorders on line, & I m not sure if I have myokymia fasciculation or maybe Blepharospasm. I also looked at the possiblility of hemifacial spasms, but I do not have spasms anywhere below the eye. Do you know what this could be & why I ve had it for so many years. It started when I was 14 years old & at that time, I didn t have a computer or watch much tv & I didn t drink much caffine.

it is simply blepharospasm. ticks. treatment or cause is not known. some time it is linked to anxiety. Anxiety is to be reduced. It is self limiting and will go by itself.Change your life style. try to forget it. keep your self busy in other things.
