What Causes A Tickle On The Left Side Of The Throat At Midnight?
i keep getting a tickle in my throat in the middle of the night. it s on the left side of my throat and doesn t go away after drinking water, or continuous swallowing. this only started approx. 1 week ago, and happens every 4 hours of sleep time and not through the day otherwise

As per your query you have symptoms of tickle on the left side of the throat at midnight which seems to be due to tonsils infection and it could be due to upper respiratory tract infection. Need not to worry. Avoid intake of hot, spicy and sharp food. Avoid cold beverages and take small meals at a time. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined and start treatment after proper prescription. You should take proper course of antibiotic Ciprofloxacin along with anti-inflammatory medications. You should maintain oral hygiene. Do warm saline gargles.
