What Causes A Swollen, irritated, itchy, runny And Achy Eye?

My left eye feels swollen, irritated, itchy, runny and achy. Like I have spent some time blowing up balloons or playing a woodwind musical instrument. Yet upon visual examination the eye is completely normal. My vision is unaffected. I had an eye test a few months ago. What could this be? Thank you

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having swollen, irritated, itching and watery eyes.
All these symptoms indicate inflammation of the eye in the form of conjunctivitis.
The causes are either infections or allergy.
The treatment is by use of antibiotic eye drops and anti allergic eye drops depending on the cause.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
