What Causes A Spreading Black Patch Of Skin On Neck And Around Mouth?
Hi my name arumei , I just have a question ? Around my mouth I have a large black mark And on my nake it's getting bigger goes all over the face I try a lots of cream it just hight light but still larging ! What should I do !!!???i know it's a hormone problem I wish someone help me pls
The symptoms you mention in query are pointing towards hormonal changes ( as you also mention in query ) . The condition is also known as Melasma, or chloasma . You should not apply any cream or ointment by your own , because sometimes steroid ointments can make it worse . So use any skin product only under the advice of expert . There are also be other possibilities like allergic reaction , any auto immune disease or skin infection . I would suggest you to to consult dermatologist as well as endocrinologist for proper examination . Till then put cold compresses on affected area several times a day , take benadryl and avoid sun exposure .
Hope your concern has been resolved. Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
