I have noticed a dull pain in the right side of my scrotum while seated or walking standing for long periods. When I self examine I notice there is a soft lump behind right testicle. I can isolate it with my fingers so the lump is not on the testicle itself but it is connected.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Dull pain with feeling of a lump behind the testicle can be due to : Epididymitis or a cyst related to it.
I would advise you the following: Get examined physically by an Urologist or a General Surgeon Confirmation of the diagnosis by Ultrasonography and color doppler Test of urine, stool and blood as required.
A course of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines Scrotal support Surgery only if required and that you have completed your family.
Hello and welcome to HCM. Your concern is understandable. As an Urologist, i can assure you, there's nothing to worry about. Such painless lumps are over the testis or the vessels bundle leading to the cord. They're called cysts. It's safest to get it checked by an Urologist and confirm it. Hope your doubt is cleared. Wish you well.
