What Causes A Small Red Spot On The Pointer Finger Of The Left Hand?
Hi, I have had a small red dot on my hand since as long as I can remember. It is on my left hand just under the right side of my pointer finger. The dot itself is small but around it my skin is red. It is not itchy and doesn t hurt, but do you have any idea about what it is and how I could get rid of it?
As per your case history, you have a purpuric rash. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesion as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like fusiderm cream twice daily on it. 3. Take a vitamin c supplement once daily for three months. If the problem persists then consult a dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
