What Causes A Purple Line Near The Opening Of The Vagina?
I have a purple line in the folds of my skin near the vagina, but above and to the right. It s been there for a month and a half and looks like a vein but it s not and it hurts like being stabbed if it s touched with any pressure for any reason. 3 women s nurses have looked at it now, one said it was a scrape having trouble healing and to put neosporin on it. After two weeks of that doing nothing, two more nurses had no idea what it was. They said they wouldn t have suspected a problem by looking at it. I m 21 and it s not an STD, I ve been tested.
Looking to the history and symptoms given here it can be a fungal infection and anti-fungal local application can be tried.
Any skin condition can only be diagnosed after clinical examination for the right diagnosis and management it is advisable to consult the dermatologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
