What Causes A Painfully Itchy Circular Bruise On A Child S Leg?
my son has been bitten by (I think) a black widow. It is a round bruise like circle now. I have given him benedryl and soaked it in warm water. I have been in contact with his dr. and she told me to do the benedril and benedril spray which I did. If it is not better, I will see her in the morning with my son. He is complaining it itches and hurts when he walks. I just want to make sure we can wait until the morning. He is 9 and about 60lbs.

It could be an allergic reaction. As a first line management, you can apply low potency steroid creams like Betamethasone for symptomatic relief. If the lesion persists, it is better to consult a dermatologist and get evaluated.
