What Causes A Painful Lump Under The Left Groin Area?

About a week ago I noticed a small lump under my skin in my left groin area. It only hurt when pressure was applied or if i moved my leg certain ways. It grew the next few days and it has since then not grown and it seems to be less sensitive now but it is still there. Today I noticed another small tender lump in the right side of my groin in the same spot. I am wondering what s causing this and if it will go away on its own or I should see a doctor?

Hi.

Sudden presentations as such can be related to the lymph nodes but of course this needs confirmation by a doctors examination. Please do visit a doctor to confirm/rule this out, and if it is confirmed then the cause for the lymph nodes to appear.

Best wishes.
