What Causes A Painful Cyst Behind The Earlobe?
I have a cyst on the back of my left earlobe, where my ear meets my head. I ve had it for a very long time, but within the last week it has started to get hard and very sore and tender. Now it is very hard, very warm to the touch and I can not touch it without severe pain.

It seems You have developed a sebaceous cyst. These are benign cysts but since it is growing in size and causing pain it needs to be examined.
