What Causes A Mucus Discharge, Abnormal Cramping Sensation Instead Of A Period?

Hi, so i have been having a lot of symptoms (nausea, headache, bloating, constipation, extreme fatigue, excessive thirst, constantly hungry, swelling feet, tender breast, moody/emotional, heightened sense of smell) i was due to start my period 3 days ago on the 27th of september, i have not started but now all of a sudden only when i wipe i am having some orange slimey mucus like discharge. I have a mild cramp sensation but not a normal period cramp. My body feels different and im not sure if it would be too soon to test for pregnancy or if im just being paranoid. Please help me!

Hi,

You can get a vaginal swab to rule out conditions like yeast infection and bacterial vaginosis as they can cause similar symptoms.

As of now, you can take analgesics like Mefenamic Acid for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, you can consult a gynecologist and get evaluated.
