What Causes A Lump Near The Vaginal Opening?

Hi I have this lump at the top of my vagina opening. It looks like it is attached to my hymen and it is the same colour as my hymen. I am Also a virgin and definitely isn t an and and doesn t look like a wart. It is about the size of a pea and doesn t hurt. It has been there for as long as I can remeber but I don t know if it is normal. Thank you.

If the lump is above the top opening, I hope you have differentiated it from your clitoris which is a normal anatomical structure in females that is analogous to the male penis.

If it is on the sides, then this could be a Bartholin's cyst. It wiuld be best if you can get physically examined. You can also write to me using our premium service wherein you can attach images for ny examination and confirmation.
