What Causes A Lump In The Vagina?

I m 41 yrs old and over the last year after having intercourse with my husband I have a lump just inside the right side of my vigina. In last few months it has become more painful and bigger. It causes discomfort during and pain, burning, swelling after which can last few hours or even days. I do not have any discharge or any other signs. I did however have surgery 1 month ago as they thinking I had a atomic pregnancy and lose extreme amount of blood. I have had 3 children with the youngest now 13
