Good evening, I had an abstuction 4 years ago. Did emergency surgery. Now i have a large bump that is hard and very painful to touch. It hurts when i air up lay down and even walk. If hurts even more when I am on my cycle. not able to push the hard lump back in. It hurts so much that it brings tears. Just wearing pants or tight clothes makes the discomfort worst. What can I do to easy the pain?
I think this bump very painful is an inflammation of Bartholin's gland more possible infected. These glands product fluids that are responsible for lubrication of vagina. The treatment depends on the size of the Bartholin's cyst. You need to practice some rules for example not to wear tight clothes, you have to wear cotton underwear, to have a good hygiene, soaking the area in warm water, as well as meet a gynecologist to see if you need to do an surgical drainage and of course using antibiotics.
I hope my answer helps you. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Monika Dede
