What Causes A Fleshy Painful Bump On The Tonsil Arch?

I have a fleshy painful bump on my tonsil arch. I noticed it yesterday after having to throw up because I was nauseated. It hurts a bit to swollow and a small surrounding area seem sore. In addition to nausea, I have felt dizzy, fatigued, weak and a bit disoriented throughout the day. I also see bugs that arent there and feel bugs crawling on me. Any ideas? Thank you.

Hi

Welcome to HCM

These symptoms indicate acute inflammation of tonsils in the form of tonsillitis. The treatment of the condition is by use of antibiotics and anti-inflammatory drugs. Use of salt water gargling will provide symptomatic relief. Do consult your ENT doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
