What Causes A Flesh Colored Lump Near The Tonsils?
I ve just finished a round of antibiotics for a ear and sinus infection that affected my throat and now I have a flesh coloured bump just in front of where my tonsils were on the left side on a soft bit of skin. I don t feel it until I eat something and then it feels like I have something stuck in there. How do I get rid of it?
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Flesh coloured bump what you have noticed after taking a course of antibiotics could be due to inflammation of tonsils. You need not worry about it much. Kindly do the following to overcome it. 1. Salt water gargling with warm water twice daily. 2. Take any decongestant medication in the form of syrup. 3. Use medicated lozenges to soothen the throat. 4. Use regularly Chlorhexidine mouth wash to maintain good oral hygiene. Gradually, your symptoms should subside and be back to normal. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
