What Causes A Feeling Of Persistent Dizziness?

HI I recently had an extremely bad dizzy spell on Saturday, to the point where I passed out and hit my head on the floor. I was taken by ambulance to the hospital where they did a lot of tests but were not able to figure out why I got dizzy. I am still have little dizzy spells when I go from sitting to standing and bending over. Is there anything else I should be doing to help prevent this from happening again?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It is due to gastritis secondary to acid reflux. As a first line management you can take antacids like Omeprazole or Pantoprazole for symptomatic relief. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
