What Causes A Drop In Blood Pressure?

Today while standing in the bus I fainted and I recall it happening before about a month ago. I brushed it off thinking it was a form of panic attack. I know forsure that I actually fainted. A nurse in the bus told me it was a drop in blood pressure. What caused this?

Hello
This could commonly be either due to hypoglycemia or low blood pressure. I would suggest you to get your blood pressure monitored every third day to know the regular status of your BP. Also get your blood sugar levels checked.

Panic attack usually does not cause fainting though it can cause dizziness and lightheadedness

Hope this helps
