Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I currently run 2 - 3 miles a day. I m shortly due to have surgery to remove my fallopian tubes, a cyst on my right ovary and excess fluid in my pelvic region. I m keen to remain running post op as I m hoping to start IVF once recovered but don t want to do anything that will hinder my recovery. What would you recommend, please? Thank you. Kirsty
First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately. Based on the history you have shared, you can run postoperatively but after your wound heals properly and having healthy diet and avoiding think will help you get rid of cysts in future and that will help in IVF as well.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
