What Causes A Collapsed Disc When Diagnosed With URI And Migraines?

Juan,I have 3 injections on my left leg for a side leg pain when I walk or standing around ,I have 3 surgery on l-5 s1 disc and now my disc is collapse and been getting injection in wrong places never hit the right muscle what should I do e-mail YYYY@YYYY

Hi,
Thanks for the question . I understand your concern.
Actually you already had 3 spinal surgeries. NOt migrain, but URI with hectic cough can cause collapse of disc..
The side leg pain can be caused by nerve irritation, pressure/ kinking or pinching of nerve with the collapsed disc.
You are probably being given pain medicine or steroid injection to relieve pain. if it is helping .. you should add & try with physical therapy, physiotherapy . Spinal fusion surgery is the only option left .. if nothing helps.
Please consult a orthopedic surgeon.
