What Causes A Blood-tinged Vaginal Discharge After Using Clingen Forte?

Hi, I took 7 days course of clingen forte. on the 6th day and 7th day of the course I noticed slight dotting (blood white discharge). is it usual or a serious concern? and I have my periods date nearing (example: my periods date 10th of jun and my clingen course 6th day was 8thjun and 7th day was 9thjun). can it be because of that too? request you to kindly revert to my query.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Clungen forte is a vaginal pessary, locally acting. It is unlikely to cause side effect of prepping period. The vaginal discharge you had might have been from some cervical erosion & the spotting might have been from this. Your period will start ad usual.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale, General & Family Physician
