What Causes IBS , Epigastric Pain And Lower Back Pain?
I have multiple chronic health conditions and just had a colonoscopy in December, not my first and they always find polyps to remove. Today in my stool I noted something I had never seen before which was a rather large amount of bright white mucus in my stool. It occurred three times today. I do have IBS and have had a sigmoidectomy and rectoplexy in 2001. I have bouts of severe epigastric pain and lower back pain as well. Is the mucus something I need to be concerned about?
