What Cause Blister Running In Throat With Red Eye And Weird Tongue?

Hi there! So I have some very odd symptoms. Friday, my right eye was BRIGHT red. But Saturday they were both red. Saturday night my throat started to get sore, but I didn t think anything of it. Sunday, my tongue started to feel very weird, so I decide to shine a flashlight in there to see if anything was strange. When I shined my light in there, there are blisters running all the way up my throat, onto the roof of my mouth. Nothing is visibly wrong with my tongue, but it still feels like there are needles on it or something. So red eyes, blisters in throat, and weird feeling tongue. My throat does not hurt, as much as it just feels swollen. And there is no cough. My lymph nodes feel a little swollen. My eyes are not discharging. I have no other symptoms (runny nose, nausea, fever, pain, etc.) Please help! What could this possibly be??

Hi,
Welcome to health care magic,

All this symptoms could be because of upper respiratory infection (pharyngitis, laryngitis, epiglotitis) or stomatitis or allergic rhinitis or sinusitis.

Your tongue blisters and feeling weired cold be due to glossitis or mouth infection.

It could be mostly due to viral infection like EB virus, adenovirus but some time could be bacterial.

You may have some routine blood investigation and Chest X- ray to get diagnosed first.

You may require higher antibiotics (quinolones or macrolides) to prevent super infection with anti-inflammatory and other supportive treatment.

It would be advisable to see ENT specialist and start treatment after that.
