What Caues Pain In Upper Back Between Shoulder Blades?
I have a ripping pain in my upper back between my shoulder blades...its persistent all day from the time i wake up untill the time I go to sleep. I M currently taking 3 advils every 6 hours but its not helping. Could there be something wrong outside of muscle tension from stress?

There is possibility of muscle spasm leading to persistent pain.
Another common possibility can be spinal disc bulge leading to pain.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and Tens may give you relief.
