What Cases Nausea After Having Nectarines?

I just ate a couple of nectarines that had some pulpy or pithy parts that, although I spit those out and ate only the part that seemed alright, within 15 minutes or so, I started feeling nauseated. With all the problems with our food supply, just wondering if I should be concerned.

Hello,

Your symptoms could be related to simple indigestion or food intoxication.

If nausea persists, or you will have a stomach ache or even diarrhea, it would indicate possible intoxication. In such a case I would recommend going to the ER for a physical exam and taking some medicine.

Otherwise, I would just recommend taking an antiacid and trying to avoid spicy food in the next days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
