What Can Cause Persistent Exhaustion In Pregnancy?

I am 24 weeks pregnant and exhausted all the time. People say that during the second trimester is when you have the most energy but that hasn t been the case. I have had no pregancy issues (other than the norm) and I sleep for 9-10 hours a night. Any advice?

Hi dear, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Lethargy and weakness is common in pregnancy due to the hormonal changes and increased demand in the body.
I would suggest you to get your thyroid hormone levels done, as hypothyroidism can also lead to excessive tiredness and lethargy, apart from pregnancy.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
