General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It is due to minor contusion and muscle pull and it is very common after vigorous physical exertion. Nothing much to worry and you can take simple analgesics like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac for pain. Drink plenty of water and take bed rest. Nothing much to worry and you will be in good shape in couple of days.

Wishing you good health.

Thanks.
