What Can Cause Delayed Periods After A Medical Abortion?

Hi. I took 4 cytotec tablets:ingested 2 and inserted 2, 2 white quinine and 1 beecham ampiclox for a 3 to 4 weeks pregnancy . After some hours I bleeded from 15th to 24th of June (10 days),1st to 6th of July and 11th to 15th of same July. It s 21st of July now and I haven t seen my menses. Did urine test and it s negative. Please help

Hi,

Delayed periods happens after medical abortion. It’s quite common and your periods will return to its normal rhythm after a while.

If periods are delayed long, you can consult a gynecologist and get an ultrasound scan done.
