What Can Cause Bright Red Blood On The Bottom Of A 4 Year Old Girl?

I have a 4 year old little girl that once in a while will have bright red blood and seems like mucus on her bottom when I go to wipe. I read a few things online last time it happened that said it was nothing to be concerned about. I was just wanting to get a personal reference on my own.

Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

If the bleeding is associated with pain while passing stools, possibility of anal fissure needs to be considered. Also rectal polyp needs to be ruled out.
I suggest you a thorough examination from your Pediatric Surgeon after fixing up an appointment with him.

Do get back to me for further queries

Take Care
