What Can Cause Blood In Stool?

Blood in the stool....i am a single female(29)..during summer I get atleast two times in a month and stops the next day.I am scared whether its any other problem in my body? I drink lot of water and fruits....I am thinking whether its because of eating non veg a lot..I don t want to consult a doctor as I feel shy..please help..I m confused...

I understand your concern
Blood in stool can be due to the constipation, polyp, hemorrhoids, inflammatory bowel disease.
Do not shy and consult the gastroenterologist as proper investigation require.
I would suggest to go for stool tests, routine blood tests like CBC, ESR, CRP and fecal calprotectin test.
Treatment will depend on the specific cause.
Meanwhile take healthy diet, take small frequent meal rather than large meal, avoid spicy/oily/fatty food, drink plenty of water and fruit juice, avoid stress, do regular exercise.
