My friends 12 yo son is always sick. He is severely under weight, always pasty & pale, has no appetite, does not like food, he is constantly sick to his stomach & throwing up. His Drs say they do not know what it could be. Please let me know if you have any ideas.

Hello

If these are his only symptoms I am sure that he would have been evaluated for hypothyroidism already and it should have been ruled out as the doctors have been taking care of him. But at the same time I would suggest testing him for Epstein-Barr and there is a possibility of chronic fatigue syndrome which presents exactly like this.

I suggest you consult his position with this tip and get him evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
